The Museum is located in Hatem Khan Mahalla in the heart of Rajshahi city, surrounded on the north by the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital Road, on the south by Court Road, and on the east by Museum Road (Aksaya Kumar Maitra road). The Hatem Khan Bara Mosque and Rajshahi Sadar Hospital are also prominent local landmarks.
The Museum is near the Rajshahi Zero Point and is familiar to everyone. You can take a local transport from anywhere in the city and mention any landmarks like Jadughor mor (museum corner) or Rajshahi Sadar Hospital and it will take you to the museum.
Visiting Hours:
- Saturday – Wednesday | 09:00 am – 4:00 pm (with prayer break from 01:00 – 2:30pm)
- Arabian month of Ramadan | 09:00 am – 03:00 pm
- Friday 10:00 am – 05:00 pm (with prayer break from 01:00 – 2:30pm)
- Thursdays the museum is closed for weekly holidays and holidays announced by the government and the University of Rajshahi.
